Asus has announced availability details of the ZenPad C 7.0 tablet in India. Priced at Rs. 7,999, the MediaTek-powered Asus ZenPad C 7.0 (Z170MG) tablet will be available exclusively via Snapdeal starting Monday in Obsidian Black and Pearl White colour variants.

Another variant of the ZenPad C 7.0 featuring Intel Atom x3-C3230 quad-core processor is now available to buy via Flipkart. Called the Asus ZenPad C 7.0 (Z170CG), it has been priced at Rs. 8,999, but Asus India has not officially announced availability details of this variant.

To recall, the Asus ZenPad C 7.0 (Z170MG) features a 7-inch 1024×600 pixel LED-backlit IPS display, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT8382V/W) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. TheAsus ZenPad C 7.0 (Z170CG) on the other hand packs a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Intel Atom x3-C3230 processor with 1GB of RAM. The two versions come with different chipsets while other innards are identical.

Connectivity options on the ZenPad C 7.0 (Z170MG) include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, and Glonass. It bears a 0.3-megapixel front camera, and a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus. It measures 189x108x8.4mm, and weighs 265 grams. The ZenPad C 7.0 (Z170MG) packs a 3450mAh battery and is rated to deliver up to 8 hours of battery life. The Asus ZenPad C 7.0 (Z170MG) also sports 3G connectivity and comes with two Micro-SIM card slots.

Back in October, Asus made its ZenPad 7.0 (Z370CG) available at Rs. 11,999 and the tablet was alsoavailable with a bundled Audio Cover at Rs. 14,999. The Asus ZenPad 8.0 (Z380KL) went on sale at the same time at Rs. 14,999 and with an Audio Cover at Rs. 17,999.
