The annual Consumer Electronics Show is right around the corner, happening in January 2016, and LG has provided customers a glimpse on what it has in store for the massive electronics exhibition.
It seems that for CES 2016, LG will have more focus on home audio systems compared to previous years, with the company saying that it will be launching its newest sound bars and X-Boom systems at the event.
The company will be unveiling the newest addition to its LG Music Flow smart multi-room audio system, namely the sound bars SH6, SH7 and SH8. The SH6 is an all-in-one system that comes with dual bass ports, while the SH7 and SH8 both feature a wireless subwoofer that makes them ideal for bigger home theater systems.
The sound bars, which all have adaptive sound control that changes the settings depending on the content being played, also have one-button setup capabilities to pair up the gadgets with other LG Music Flow speakers through Wi-Fi. The SH6, SH7 and SH8 all also contain the new LG feature named BT-Fi, which allows the sound bars to switch between Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections depending on the source of the content. The sound bars also feature Google Cast compatibility.
In addition to the Music Flow line of LG, there will also be new products for the X-Boom systems, named the OM5560 the OM7560 and the CM9960. The first two models are solo units that house entire audio systems within, which makes them capable of delivering intense output of audio during large gatherings such as parties.
The new X-Boom speakers also feature the Sampler Creator tool, which would allow users to record audio on their smartphones and then use the files on the digital soundboard of the DJ. The new X-Boom speakers have the Party Thruster feature, which utilizes built-in lights of different colors to serve as a visual accompaniment to the music.
