Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) announced the results of Class 12 board examinations on Friday on its official website.
According to MPBSE chairperson SR Mohanty, the decision to declare the results both of Class 10 and Class 12 together was taken to make students stress free.
The state government will pay the tuition fees of those who score more than 85% in the Class 12 exam to help them continue higher education. Students who score less than 85% marks will be given the facility of an interest-free loan to pursue higher education in the best institutes of India.
Nearly 5.50 lakh students wrote the class 12 exam.
The evaluation of the answer sheets was done in two phases and evaluators were asked to check them carefully. If a student applies for a revaluation and their doubt is legitimate, the evaluators will have to pay a fine.
Teachers were paid Rs 11 to check a Class 10 an answer sheet and Rs 12 for Class 12.
