The theft occurred about 11:45 p.m. Monday, when the suspect entered a business in the 25400 block of The Old Road, walked throughout the store and then entered a rear area restricted to employees, according to Shirley Miller, public information officer with the sheriff’s Santa Clarita Valley Station.
“He began taking merchandise from the back of the store and placing the items in a plastic tote,” Miller said. “When he was confronted by store personnel, he ran out the fire exit with a PlayStation 4 making no attempt to pay for the item.”
